These walks can be customized for your skill level, schedule, and particular interests. For beginners: we'll talk about the basics of mushroom recognition and identification, as well as the biology and ecological roles of fungi. For more advanced identifiers seeking to take a deep dive on the taxonomy of local fungi, or those in search of a particular species (whether for your life list or for photography), we'll make sure that these tours are a match for your curiosity.

Tours can be led in a location of your choosing (including your own property), or we can choose from among Santa Cruz County's many beautiful open spaces. The best location often depends on the season; please contact us before signing up so that we can work out scheduling and location details. Prices are for Santa Cruz County; for bookings outside this area, please contact us directly.
